Copy this sentence into your LiveJournal if you're in a non-same-sex marriage, and you don't want it "protected" by the bigots who think that gay marriage hurts it somehow.

Why is it so hard for certain groups to accept that other people's personal lives are neither their prerogative nor  their playground?
I'm past the point of being nice about this. After all, I can't imagine any way writing selective rights into the state constitution could be considered polite.  Or even human.
